Dr. Dacia Ash, Doctor of Chiropractic

I was born and raised in Waukon, IA and moved to Cedar Rapids in 2010 while attending the University of Iowa. During my time at Iowa, my boyfriend Sam and I, welcomed our daughter Tegan in January 2011. I graduated with a degree in Biology in 2014.

I spent four years working before finally deciding to attend Palmer College in Davenport. While in the outpatient clinic at Palmer I was able to intern under an awesome pediatric doctor which sparked my interest in working with the pediatric and perinatal populations. During my time at Palmer, I was married to my high school sweetheart, Sam, in 2019. I commuted daily from Cedar Rapids to Davenport and will not miss that drive.  I graduated summa cum laude in February 2022.

My chiropractic techniques include a variation of Diversified, Gonstead, Activator, Thompson and Webster (which is specific for pregnancy). I also have additional training in an assisted soft tissue, which is a technique that utilizes instruments to work on soft tissues, such as muscles.

In my free time, you can find my hanging out with my family, playing sand volleyball, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, going to country music concerts and deer hunting with my husband.

I’m grateful to be able to provide care to the Cedar Rapids community. I believe that chiropractic care is for everyone – the old, the young; the sick, the healthy; the rich and the poor. If you’d like to give chiropractic a try, I’d love to help get you started and answer any questions you may have. My goal is to make my patients feel comfortable and welcomed whether they are new to the office or a 5-year patient.
