Before Your Appointment
Our forms are online so you can complete them in the convenience of your home. Please fill them out and bring them to your first appointment.
Your First Visit
At your first visit, we start by listening. We’ll want to learn about you to best determine the cause of your condition. Your health history, activity level, nutrition and lifestyle are all important, as are your goals for your health. We’ll learn this through the forms you provide and our conversation when we meet.
We’ll also examine you to diagnose your problem and rule out potential issues. Your doctor will check your posture, your ability to bend and move, test your muscle strength and reflexes and perform other chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological testing specific to your condition.
If X-rays are required, we can safely perform them right in our office and review them during your appointment. We can also refer you for other testing, if needed.
If your exam and test results tell us you’d benefit from chiropractic care, we’ll develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. If your condition is best served by other medical professionals, we’ll refer you to a trusted specialist.
We can often provide some form of treatment on your first visit so you can begin to experience relief. For future visits, we’ll let you know what you can expect and how long treatment may last.
